Trystan Julliard Search (aka Cheryl Lynn Tate)

It must be nearly 10 years since I last saw Trystan. It’s a real shame, because I liked her a lot. I’ve asked everyone I can think of, and no one knows what’s become of her. So, Trystan – are you out there? If so, then drop me a line.

I’m also looking for her! We were very good friends in high school, but lost touch. I heard second-hand that she’d moved to London, but I know nothing from there, and believe that was a good many years ago!

Me, too. We were friends, briefly, in California, went to concerts together. Lost her when she got to England and got married. It’s a friendship I’ve always wanted to fix, even this many years down the road.

She had moved to the UK, was contemplating getting married. My last track of her was as a point of contact for a ISP in the UK.

Sorta into thin air about a decade ago.

Oh, cool, there’s somebody on this thread. Are you part of the Great T.J. Search, pun intended?

Well, if she should ever seek out her old name online, I have a poem I have written for her, all these years later. I truly hope she has cause to read it someday.

Wrong song! #9 on Side 1 should be “Intermission” by Saga. My bad, Teej.

Surprised there was no Klaatu on that playlist!

The Supertramp and Styx was all stuff we listened to together in high school!

    Really wonder where she’s gone…

  15. Cat Springer said,

    21 December, 2013 @ 06:31

Nope, Edward, no Klaatu. You wouldn’t happen to know what the instrumental with guitar and flute is, by any chance? I can’t find it in MP3.

Oh. One more track to add: Extras: 2. “Down in the Park” – Gary Numan and the Tubeway Army

Teej, just found all the letters you wrote me. Such a personality shines through. Digging up the Gary Numan I missed that you suggested. But I need more music. It’s the Information Age. Why do you stay missing? I need to bring you out of the 80s. Why don’t you appear? Your Cat.

T.J.: 27 years later, five of them on this obscure forum, still throwing stones into the pool, waiting. I have fewer years ahead of me than behind. Find us. Find me.

Currently in possession of a lot of Trystan’s stuff in my attic (father stored it for her). Found a book with a few notes. It seems she was going through a divorce and very much into Lo Shu squares. She mentions a Steve Deas (possible writer as it mentions his book being published) and a Nigel Wright. A Janet Gluckham who is mentioned as ‘the mother of my heart’ a lot.

I am looking into this person per a request made by someone who flows this board. Can anyone give me a rundown of where she’s been a birthday and date of immigration? I have hope I can find her.

If this is the same person… Her address in 2006 was: 70 Springfield Blvd Milton Keynes MK6 3JT United Kingdom

I met her around 12 years ago in the UK, but lost touch eventually.

Teej, 30 years now. Turned 60. Still a young man thinking on you. Will be here another decade, at least. Dance?

If I am not mistaken I met her in London (probably around 2006). This is unless there is another Trystan Julliard Search who worked at an ISP and moved from the US to the UK. Pretty sure it’s the same person.

We were talking a lot online, and since I was passing by London on the way somewhere else and had some time to kill we decided to meet up. Just had some dinner and some chat somewhere in London, nothing much else.

I think she was living somewhere in Milton Keynes back then.

She used to go online by the name of “Schroe”, had involvement in the Unreal Tournament community back then (Clanbase etc). Personally she was in a pretty bad place, issues with finding place to stay, no job (I think) and struggling with finances somewhat… As I basically had no more time for computer games due to things happening in life we kinda lost touch.

That is as much as I remember. Memory is hazy, it was 13 years ago if not more.

P.S. this is in addition to what I wrote in 2018, as I happened to stumble upon something that reminded me of her.
